Model Printing and Pledge Manger News!

Modeling Update

We hope that everyone is doing well as 2016 draws to a close.  Today we wanted to take an opportunity to give you an update on how things are progressing.  

As of this update we have finished printing the Lang Towers Residential District Building, all 4 Tech Centre Buildings and the U.N.S.C. Doctrine Centre models.  When we went to print the Doctrine Centre for production we had a bit of a rethink on how the model would be produced, and as such we made a change from a one part model to a two parts as shown in the images below.  This will help create a smaller storage footprint for you on the end user side and it helps with the final packaging of the product moving forward.  

To remedy the fact that this model will now be in two parts we will be including rare earth disc magnets in with the model so that the tower will stay together nicely during use, but easily break down for storage when the battle is over.  

We have also gone back and added this feature into the Gemellus Suites, included in the Tech Centre Set, so that skybridge will be held in place between the two buildings by magnets. With Koenig Tower we will go in an adjust the design for the magnets to be added as part of that model as well.

Pledge Manager Update

We have reached the 80% response point on the Pledge Manger today, and we want to thank you since the information gathered there helps us a great deal in knowing which models need to get into production first from a popularity stand point.  As a reminder we will keep the PM open until 11 AM on January 1, 2017 at that time the surveys will be locked.  If you have any questions or did not receive a survey email, to access the PM, just let us know via direct message on Kickstarter.

Pledge Manager Ready to Go!

Ready to Go!

We wanted to let you know that we have the Pledge Manager ready to go with BackerKit and have submitted it for their review.  Once their approval is back we will be hitting the "Go!" button for the surveys to be emailed out to everyone who helped bring this project to life.  We have been busy with printing and assembling the buildings so we can make the production molds.  With the data that will be coming in from the Pledge Manager we will be able to weight the production schedule by demand with the more popular models being put into production first so that we can maintain our schedule for May fulfillment.  

Ala Carte Rewards

Since the Pledge Tiers in this campaign did not have set rewards we had to tweak the Pledge Manager(PM) so you can use your pledge amount as a credit to "Add-On" your rewards.  When you receive your PM it will show the Pledge Tier name from the campaign, but the pledge value will show $0.  Per the fine people at BackerKit, we basically have to trick the system so you can use your pledged monies to go shopping. This means your pledged amount will appear as a credit to be spent on Add-Ons so that you can customize your rewards as you prefer.  

Important:  The freebies that are available for Backers at the Civil Engineer Tier an above will see the "Stretch Goal 1-3 Freebie Set" listed in the "Items Included in Your Pledge" section of the PM.  This free set will be automatically included with your pledge, so please do not choose those items again as Add-Ons unless you wish to purchase additional sets by using or adding to the amount you have already pledged.

The PM will remain open until the 1st of January 2017.

Shipping Reminder

Shipping will not be calculated during the PM.  As per the information included during the campaign we will figure all shipping at time of fulfillment on an individual order basis. This allows us to give each of you the most economical shipping cost that fits the needs of your individual order.  When that time comes we will send you an invoice for shipping and once paid your order will be dispatched within 2 business days. Also, we will be fulfilling orders for our overseas Backers from fulfillment locations in the UK and New Zealand, so that we can use localized shipping rates to help keep shipping expenses in line for all Backers.

We would like to take another opportunity to thank each of you again for your support for this project.  We are very excited about this phase and are looking forward to posting images of the new master models soon so you can see the process of bringing this project to life.  

Over the next few months we will also begin posting information and sneak peeks of Neo Tyrannis Phase II which will be coming in the early Summer of 2017, soon after we finish the fulfillment of Phase I.  As we have stated before this is something we want to build with the involvement of the small scale Sci Fi community, so if you have suggestions on what you would like to see in Phase II please let us know.

MASTER MODEL PRINTING UNDERWAY!

STATUS UPDATE!

We wanted to let y'all know where things are now with the project.  We have our new printer in house now so after a week of test printing we have started the process of printing the master models.  The first model is the Lang Residential Tower and below you can see an image of one of the parts as it just came off the printer after its IPA bath. 

You can see the build raft and supports are still attached to the piece and will be removed later today once the piece as some time to sit and cure further.  This structure will be printed in parts then assembled to become the complete production master.  Our plan is that as we have 2 to 3 models completed we will then started getting them in molds so we can make the castings.  This also allows us to get into a better position for production since the mold making will be staggered out over the course of the next few months.

FALL IN CONVENTION

If any of you will be at the Fall In Convention in Lancaster, PA next weekend, November 4-6th, stop by our booth.  We are planning on bringing the Lang Residential Tower model with us so you can see it in person. So if your there please stop by and say, "Hello!"

PLEDGE MANAGER

We are going to be using BackerKit for our pledge manager and are in the process of setting up the campaign with them now. Once its all good to go we will get it out so that you can start making your selections and we can start producing what we need to fulfill your order.  Thank you all again for helping to bring this project to life we are so excited about this phase of the process and getting these models out so they can be enjoyed on your tabletops.

STRETCH GOAL 3 UNLOCKED!

YOU GUYS ROCK!

We want to say THANK YOU! to everyone who has shown their support of this project through there pledges and input over the nearly 30 days of this campaign.  Stretch Goal 3 is now UNLOCKED and the Add-ons section has been updated.
